  The Secret To Passing The Panre Revealed

The Physician Assistant National Recertifying Exam  (PANRE) is a certified computerized multiple choice examination taken by physician assistants throughout the United States. The purpose of the test is to evaluate your knowledge in both surgical and general medicine and the test can be taken during the two final years of the certification maintenance cycle. Similar many other exams, PANRE can be daunting especially if you do not prepare efficiently or have little to no access to the best PANRE prep courses. Below are some of the things you need to avoid if you wish to pass the exam.

Insufficient preparation. Like every other examination, you need to prepare before you do the exam. PANRE covers a lot of information and for this reason, you need to take enough time to read go through your material before sitting for it. Insufficient preparation leads to stress and panic which eventually lead to failure. Considering the fact that you are only allowed a maximum of four attempts to do the exam, it is advisable to prepare adequately so as to avoid having to retake the test. For students, it is wise to take an entire clinical year to prepare and three to six months for experienced physician assistants.

Bad time management. The PANRE test contains 240 multiple-choice questions that are subdivided into four blocks each with 60 questions. The exam takes four hours to complete which includes a 60 minutes for each block and a  total of 45 minutes to be used as a break when transitioning between the blocks. You are expected to manage your break time in which case if you fail to manage your time properly, you may end up not completing the test and this could result in a fail. If you do not understand a question and it seems to be taking too much time, you should move to the next one and later come back to it.

Insufficient knowledge. While preparing for an exam, most people tend to focus on their strengths while totally and completely avoiding their pain points. The reason being, their strong areas will raise their weak points. While this is the case in general exams, specialized exam such as PANRE require you to show competence in all areas that you are being assessed in. You need purpose to understand at least 80% of everything. Another thing to note is that Best PANRE Prep courses use only generic names of medications and inasmuch as you may know the actual trade names, it would be wise to know the generic ones as well.

Basically, the key to passing this examination is to prepare adequately and efficiently. Know what works for you and try to go through as many prep courses as you can so as to know the format of the questions and what your strengths and weaknesses are.
